Having authority sucks!

Hi my name is Virginia. I don't like confrontation and I don't like telling people what to do.
This of course is unavoidable when you have a position of authority. I am number 3 in the chain of command at work and number 1 in the evenings when the other two go home.
Yesterday a very nice but incompetent person flubbed again and I reported it.
This morning when I got to work they had decided to let this person go. Guess who got to be the legal witness to the termination? Me.
I feel like a dirty snitch.

It's not easy being green.

I felt bad for green because we did not have a green day this week.
Oh and there are no frogs in the post. Not even Kermit. I detest frogs but I like green.

The blues

Today's color at work is blue and I had a bit of the blues this morning. it was dreary, rainy and I was running late which I hate. But this afternoon the rain let up and while it is quite breezy the sun has made a modest appearance. I will take it.
