Where I'd rather be.

I have a little bit of the Monday blues. You know nothing is really wrong but you just feel a little of. So I did a little imagination travel. This is where I would rather be.

Look a Zebra and a kid art all rolled into one.

this picture is from one of my all time favorite students. I was lucky enough to have a group of students for 2 years from age 3 to age 5. I think because of this I have an extra special place for these kids in my heart. Anyway one of these kids made me this picture after she moved on to kindergarten. I LOVE IT!

one perfect weekend

I am sharing pictures from my wonderful day two Saturdays ago.
That day the beautiful town next to mine full of these big beautiful Victorian houses was having a town wide garage sell.
that day was pretty close to perfect.



I wanted this desk but I have no real need for it so I let it go .

One of the churches was selling hot dogs and barbecue. My Mom and I bought some lunch and sat at a table under this tree.

This is one of those great Victorian houses. The town is full of them. They are beautiful!

This is one of the historical buildings in the town.

Mom is taking time to smell the roses. They were beautiful and they smelled Divine!

I got a cute new little netbook so I should be making post more frequently. I hope!

I went to the bookstore this weekend and I came across this book
Regretsy : Where DIY Meets WTF
by April Winchell

While perusing the book I was overcome with laughter several times. It's nice to know crazy people craft too.
