Spring?

Puxatony Phil saw his shadow today so as soon as I got back from my visit to northern PA with my shot gun. (don't ask questions) I decided to bring some spring into my life now.

When I was a little girl my Mom would take my siblings and me to the library almost every week.
I love librarys. Thank you Mom.


This cute little yellow house is the library I go to. It is in walking distance of my house and right up the street from the Deleware river.

Tegan and Sara collage

One day about two years ago or so I was flipping the millions of channels we are collectively bombarded with when I stumbled upon a little known channel (I can't remember what it was, but it was kind of artsy.) that was playing this weird documentary thing where these girls were talking an this phone in a fake forest. They were also creating this amazing music and letting you get a peek into there process. Well I could not stop watching and listening. I needed a pen so I could write down who these people were. I wrote down Tegan and Sara. then I went and purchased the album "The Con" and have been enthralled and inspired by Tegan and Sara ever sense. So Thank You Tegan and Sara!

Little black book

One day when I was in paradise, I mean at the library I came across the coolest book of colors I have ever seen.
The book is called "The black book of colors" and it is written by Menena Cottin.
 The book's illustrations are black on black raised pictures. The narrator explains the colors through the senses excluding the sense of sight. I love this book. Go check it out!

Treehouse

I was a tree climber as a child. My best friend and I would virtually live up in this great climbing tree in her front yard. Dreaming for a tree house was a natural succession to this altitudinous way of life. As an adult I have not lost this desire. Evidence proves I'm not alone.

Fairy floss
