Friday the thirteenth

It's Friday the 13th.  That's good luck for me!

First sign of good luck. I am able to blog. Yeah.

I have had so many things to blog about I don't know where to start.

I have a new favorite word. It can be used in just about any context. It can be positive or negative. It was invented by a very original four year old.  The word is Sanana. let me give you some examples of it's use.

Did something really Awesome happen. Sanana!

Is that person not very nice to you. She is Sanana.

You can say it in frustration or exasperation. Sanana.

Is the outfit you just tried on not working. No Sanana.

Go ahead. Try it today.

1. Azure- A clear, cloudless sky with a purplish shade of blue. Sounds like heaven to me!
2. Dashing- appearing elegant and stylish also energetic and lively. Where are all of the dashing men? I want to meet you.
3. flora- the word has to do with plants and flowers. I love flowers. also it is an old fashion name. It might be even harder to find a Flora then it is to find a Virginia.
4. Anew- in a different way than before, fresh. I love a new beginning because I make a lot of mistakes.
5. trinket-a small ornament. I just like the way the word sounds. I don't know why.

1. Iridescent- when I here the word iridescent I think of delicate things that are always changing color as if in a dream.
2. Pigment-Is it weird that one of the reasons I like the word is because it has the word pig in it. I also like it because it has to do with color, or more so that it gives or bestows color.
3. Genteel- the word is sort of snooty and stuck-up but also elegant and polite everything I'm not but sometimes wish I was.
4. Hillside-The word makes my minds eye work overtime and picture myself on this hillside and what wonderful nature is there and what must the view be like and what am I doing on this hills and how much fun would it be to roll down this hillside. 
5. Quintessential- Dictionary.com defines it as "the most perfect embodiment of something"

Five words

I have more words that I love to share with you.

1. Stargaze- The night sky is so amazing so beautiful so magical. It gives me chills. To stargaze also means to daydream which I am a big fan of.
2. Bubble- It is fun to say, it is fun to spell, and there fun to play with. who ever figured how to contain gas in a liquid sphere is a genius.
3. Fantasy- it can also be spelled Phantsy I looked it up. It is a magical escape in the mind. everyone needs it and there free! The human brain is pretty amazing.
4. Soothe- The word sounds exactly like it's meaning. It is soft and comforting. I love it
5. Fleur-de-lis or Fleur-de-lys- The word just sounds like music to me. The symbol was used by french royalty. It is thought to resemble an iris.

I have seen many blog post of peoples favorite words. As a lover of words I find these so interesting. I have decided to share some of mine from time to time. (I have a lot)

Here are my first five.

1. Lovely- I use this on a lot. Nice is okay but if I had the choice between nice and lovely... no contest.
2. Filigree- It's just so much fun to say plus it means delicate and fanciful.
3. Ingenue- I remember learning the meaning of this word as a girl and hoping I would become an ingenue. (in my mind that was the black version of Lauren Bacall)
4. Peruse- I think the only reason I like this word is because I love to peruse books.
5. Somnolent- I don't know why but I like to use big words to say ordinary things sometimes.
